Dumpster Rental FAQs and Tips
Many cities and towns require a permit to place a dumpster on the street or sidewalk. Before ordering a dumpster, check with your city or town regarding permit requirements for placing it on the street or sidewalk.
Be sure there is enough room for the dumpster as well as the delivery truck. A few good questions to ask yourself are;
1. Where is it going to be placed?
2. Is there enough space for the truck to drop the dumpster?
3. Are there any overhead wires, trees, or other hazards that could cause an issue?
4. Is there enough room to open the door to the dumpster?
These questions will help you assess the suitability of the placement location and avoid any potential obstacles or safety hazards.
When in doubt, opt for the larger size. Customers often underestimate their debris volume, so choosing a larger container can prevent overflow issues.
